Sexual Health

It is important that young people make positive and healthy lifestyle choices so they can improve their personal health and emotional wellbeing. It can be really difficult to talk about sex but it is very important to find out about contraception and consent so you can make the right choices.

Everyone has questions or worries about sex and it's normal to feel like this. You should be able to ask whatever you want and not be embarrassed.

This section will provide you with information on healthy relationships, consent, contraception, sexually transmitted disease and where you can get confidential help and support.

Getting It On

Getting It On is dedicated to helping teenagers in South West London. They provide information and advice on key issues such as sexual and mental health, drugs, alcohol and relationship problems, and give listings of helpful services and clinics across the area.

Maybe you are worried about alcohol or drugs, could do with talking to someone about LGBTQ issues, or need some advice about having sex for the first time? Or maybe you need contraception - either long-term (LARC) or emergency (EHC), are pregnant and need help, or have questions about Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STIs)?  Whatever the issue, hopefully the Getting It On website can offer advice, or point you in the right direction to get the help you need.

Getting It On is here to help. Don’t go it alone.
