Reform to social care in England

NSPCC Learning has published a CASPAR briefing summarising the government’s proposals to reform social care in England. The briefing sets out proposals contained in three reports currently out for consultation from the Department for Education: Stable homes, built on love: implementation strategy, which sets out the government’s long-term plan to transform children’s social care; Children’s social care national framework, which outlines principles for practice in children’s social care; and Child and family social worker workforce, which proposes new rules on employing agency workers in children’s social care.
